Austria-based Meusburger, a maker of standard components for moulds, has announced that it has acquired Germany-based hot runner specialist PSG Plastic Service.
The companies did not disclose the financial details of the deal.
Meusberger states that all of PSG Plastic Service’s 200 employees will be kept on. PSG Plastic Service has facilities in Mannheim, Viernheim and Seckach, Germany, and a foreign branch in China.

With the takeover we have taken on board a strong partner with many years of experience in hot runner and control systems. We will continue to operate the company under the established PSG brand.

PSG Plastic Service saw sales of about €27m in 2015.
